Social Media Brand Intern (Remote)
We’re looking for a college student or recent graduate interested in social media to come work and learn with us this fall.
This position is paid, remote, and up to 20 hrs/week.
What you’ll do:
Develop and draft editorial calendars with specific voice and tone per brand
Actively work in social platforms to:
Assemble and schedule posts for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other emerging social platforms
Actively monitor social communities for sentiment snapshots, community trends, cultural beats etc.
Participate in team brainstorms and campaign projects
Research emerging trends in the marketplace
Assist with developing strategies, campaigns, and other higher-level tasks
Need to have:
The ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
Active personal social media accounts on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook at a minimum
A passionate interest in something (television, sports, books, etc.)
Creativity in how you search for things online (beyond Google)
Excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent time management and organization skills
A background in marketing, communications, media studies, or related
Availability for minimum of 10 consecutive weeks for a minimum of 4 hours/week starting fall 2021
U.S. Work Authorization
Be located within the United States
Be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
Own laptop
Nice to have:
Prior copywriting experience
Prior experience working with fan communities or fandoms
An eye for proofreading
Experience using TikTok
